After 21 unforgettable years, the time has come for us to close our doors and bring our final chapter of this wonderful (and sometimes undeniably arduous) journey to a close.
Running this restaurant has never been just a business but it has been our family's life. Over the years, we've navigated uncertainty through COVID, adapted to changing regulations, evolving customer tastes, and faced fierce competition from new businesses entering the scene. We have also done all of this while learning how to operate a business in a language that is not our own. As non-native English speakers, every contract, regulation, conversation, and customer interaction required extra effort, patience, and perseverance but it never stopped us from doing our best to serve our community with care.
Our kitchens and dining room have been filled not only with customers, but with family. Sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and our own daughter worked alongside us, and many employees grew into family as well. The relationships we built here, across generations, are what we will cherish most.
This farewell feels especially final. At the end of 2019, we closed the first chapter with the sale of Thailand Restaurant just a block away.
Now, with this closing, we are saying goodbye to the second and final chapter of our restaurant journey. Together, these restaurants represent nearly 34 years of serving our community.
We will officially cease operations on Sunday, December 28, 2025 following our regular dinner service, with close of business at 9:00 PM.
